Darling Dad, I've been thinking of you all day as I remember your birthday. What a celebration we would have had for this one! Even though you are not here, you will always be in our thoughts. How could I forget your late birthday present in the form of your Granddaughter? Or your joy in her as she beamed at you when she was supposed to be too young to be able to smile, but clearly could?
